That is the model of today's type of Corporate Management. I was in Academy looking for a fire extinguisher for the boat and they told me "Corporate" decided not to stock them any longer because according to "corporate" there isn't room in the store to stock them. LOL, how much room can a few fire extinguishers take up, I mean really....

Then I guess it's up to the employee. I checked out near the TV's and bought two games and he actually pulled out his phone and looked them up online and gave me the online price. That was maybe a year ago so their policy could have changed.

Thanks Steez

Went to 5 or 6 Walmarts and mostly they were picked. Did find a spool of 6lb Red Seagaur for $2 and a round of 8lb for $3, Picked up 8 or 10 packs of various color Biffle Bugs at $1 each but the best looking color I found rung up at $5.96. 2nd to Last stop landed me 3 KVD hook packs at $1 each but originally had 15 packs from a $1 clearance peg but many of them rung up at original price and they would not honor the clearance price. Final store had all the red label I could have wanted...all at full price.

Goofy way to run a business but I got a few deals so I am fairly happy despite all the differences.

Must be nice. My walmart doesn't even carry any seaguar line or any biffle bugs. They do have trilene XL and a ton of lead weights. Nothing worth a darn for bass fisbing.

I would pay double retail price before I went to 5-6 different Walmart stores in one day.

I wouldn't go to Walmart if it was on sale for free....

No offense but what a waste of time.

Life's to short!

Agreed, Going to Walmart is a beating at best! Rather get poked in the eye with a sharp stick than go there. But in their defense the policy of having to order online to get online price is pretty universal. Went into Cabelas and bought a Guidewear Gortex rainsuit for less than 1/2 price. Used their computer to make the online purchase and picked up a suit from store stock I had already tried on. Guess we are a little more understanding of online sales policies when we save $250 on a rainsuit.....and when we are shopping Cabelas instead of having to be inside a Walmart!

At the store in Graham the clearance items are not with the other sporting goods/fishing stuff instead they are on a kiosk out in the middle of one of the aisles in front of the electronics.
