Let me dig through my box of parts and see if i kept my old plug, not sure I did since the new one is course thread. I'll post back in a bit. You think this is it? It's not in great shape, but I don't think it was leaking. If you want it, send me your mailing address in a PM and I'll mail it to you tomorrow. I appreciate it, but I gave and am getting a new plug put in. Thank you.

Let me be the first to offer a sincere apology to you. With ALL the info you posted afterwards I'd be ticked off too. Sorry. Reading the original post didnt have all that extra problem unique to your drain plug issue. I WILL man up & say I apologize. Now to try to help you: can you use a drill bit just big enough to drill out the plastic,5200 & all the [censored] in the hole? Drill out the rivets. They sure screwed you over on that one!!! Maybe a bigger drain plug installation like used on larger vessels. Of course i know its limited because type of boat. Really trying to help out.

Ill be the first to admit letting a $4 plug keep me off the water has been VERY frustrating. I appreciate your help. Ended up just taking to the shop as I had a small oil leak thats gotten worse so having them check that out and letting them deal with getting all that old [censored] off and installing a new plug housing.

I DO know a very good mechanic close by that is very creative in tuff situations like this. Honest & charges a LOT less than big shops( has lower overhead costs). I'll send you a pm with his #.
