If I boated an 8 pounder the last day of the Bassmaster Classic I am not sure what all I would be shouting. It would probably look like a scene from Talladega Nights when Ricky Bobby thought he was on fire..... Haha, yep. It's no secret and should be no surprise that Ike's a passionate dude. He gets a little carried away sometimes with his "it's a giant" shenanigans, but I dig his enthusiasm. When my heart stops beating a little faster even after catching a line burner is when I'll quit all this craziness.

Ike suffers from "big eye". He always over estimates. Friday he thought he had 24#.
You want a fish guessed go with Aaron Martens. In the TTBC he was rarely offt He weight and never a 1/4# off.

I heard one of them say.....Ike only weighed 37 lbs so any fish that big looks to be a giant . Not sure I ever heard what the weight was but had to be around 8.5 lbs

Every fish he catches is a "big one". Hard to knock the man's enthusiasm though... Does make me laugh every time he lands a 14 Oz fish.

Any fish over 3 1/2lbs is a 10lber to Ike. whats funny is a pro will say its a giant it most always will be under 5lbs yet during the college tournys his partner will ask how big is he and he will say its only about 3-4 lbs too funny!
