Couple questions.
1. Is there any floatation in this rig?
2. Are the livewells insulated?
3. The hull design looks fast but flat. Can anyone that owns one or ridden in one say they like it in big water?

Viable questions. I know of areas where they could excel though when I think of rocky lakes up north and TBend too but the big water comes into question when thinking of TB and Rayburn..

Advice? Wise men don't need it. Fools won't heed it.

that was with a 200 merc and no electronics was just as much as a fully rigged top of the line glass rig with a 250 sho on it.

I have a 21. Been on Toledo, Rayburn. and Texoma with 20-25 mph winds and higher gusts. The boat can handle it just fine. Its a tank. When its brutally windy you will feel them a little more than a 21 glass boat because it doesnt have the flex you get in a glass boat. However it isnt that big of a difference. For me the advantages far outweigh any areas that might be slightly different from a glass boat.

Thats great David, I definitely want to see this boat when Iam ready to pass on my Ole Ranger. My first boat was a Old Rivited Grumman and I beat the brakes off that thing. I can see with solid and heavier construction how GTS would perform more like a glass boat.
If a person has been a lifetime Angler and Boater and has every plan to continue
this should be your last boat. Iam tired of fiberglass repairs, waxing, chipped gelcoat, rusted trailers and CARPET. The no maintenance and versitilty is what Iam after and that would be worth alot of money.

The nice thing about Gator Trax is that you get to design the boat. They will do anything you want. These are not cookie cutter boats. David the OP is correct. The hydro turf is great stuff. It is a closed foam material. It does not get hot. When it gets dirty all you have to do is spray it with a hose and it looks new. The first boat they built for me was one of their duck boat that Kent help me design so I could use it for duck hunting, crappie fishing and shallow bass fishing. They are great people to deal with. Kent is one of the owners of the company. He will help you design any boat you want. He is a straight shooter and does not blow smoke up your arse. below is the duck boat they built for me back in 2011

Nice rig. I like these boats a lot. Good thread.

OP, your pictures are gone. Can you reload them using a different method?

The Strike Series is a great looking boat but I already have a Ranger Z21 and wanted something that could run in shallow water as I live and fish mostly in South Louisiana. GatorTrax custom built this 20 foot tunnel hull for me with a front and back deck layout similar to a bass boat. Put power poles, an Ultrex, hydraulic jack plate, and Lowrance HDS. This boat will run upper 50's, get on step in less than 1 foot of water, and run on step in 6" water. It took me 9 months to get it propped optimally but now that I have that straight I really love the boat and get more compliments on it than I do on my Ranger. Without the large front deck, it gives me options to safely bring my young grandchildren and I can fish the marsh or even salt water bays without worrying about the effects they would have on a glass boat. GatorTrax was great people to work with. I'll even admit that they made a couple suggestions that I didn't do that I now wish I had.

My team partner has a new 21 foot one. I can second David its a great boat. I was a little apprehensive when he told me he was ordering one but I have been super impressed with the ride and the way it fishes.

The more I read about them and the more I look at their website the more I am intrigued. I'm sure its like anything else they get more and more expensive but their base prices look pretty affordable.
