I have a new Hook 7. I would like to pre-plan some way points for a trip to Tawakoni (new to me lake). Is there a way to use the maps and program way points from a computer then load it into the Hook 7 through the SD card?

What transducer needs to be selected for a bow mounted Lowrance HDS7 Gen 3? I had to restore my settings and now the sonar and down imaging do not work.

Thanks for the help. Depends on what transducer you have. There is normally a small silver tag on the cable near the plug that has the model number on it. If it has both 2D and downscan (no side scan,)it will be the HDI transducer.

In the Lowrance sonar installation menu it is listed as HDI 83/200 455/800kHz

looks like your sensitivity is set way to high. try turning it down
the vertical lines looks like your transducer and/or wire is to close to a high current electrical source. Trolling motor wiring near ducer wire? Also try a different battery.

I took my Hook 4 out for the second time over the weekend on Ray Roberts. Can someone tell me what I'm seeing? I had the sonar zoomed in at the time. First pic looks like a "stack" of fish. I didn't think they were bass because everything I've seen says that bass usually don't stack vertically like this.  Second pic looks like a fish on the bottom and a school of baitfish nearby. What do you think?

Tom,
Looks like you have interpreted the images pretty well to me. Hard to say what kind of fish, though I have seen crappie stack up like that many times.

Need help with 3d structure scan box it will not power on
i have checked my connection 3 times voltmeter says i am getting good power to connector
so i would like to connect my box to Ur plug to make sure there is not something wrong with it that i am not seeing before i ship back to lowrance
which is like a 3 week ordeal
i will be out at lake fork for from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th for the mega bass if someone would be gracious enough to allow me to do this it would be greatly appreciated
