I believe that using an RC boat to drop baits is legal. It would be the use of one to fight or land a fish that would be illegal.

I don't know about RC boats to drop baits but I have seen people use morters to launch baits at the Port A jetties. Seemed kinda like fun to me.

Heck if its legal get after it! RC boats, whatever. I was thinking that a RC airplane with a camera on board to see those Striper schools would be good one. Who needs the birds? Fly one of your own! - --AL
You can't catch'em if your hook ain't in the water

It's not that hard, just place the bait on top of the boat. Open the bail on your reel so line spools off. Drive the boat away. turn the reel handle to put tension on it when you want it to drop and it will slide off the boat. I have a remote control boat that was probabley only $150. Good boat, its fun to just play with.
