I don't exactly how far up the creek the boat was found but if it was near 377 then there are a lot of bends and turns in the creek before it reaches the main lake. There are also an enormous amount of underwater structure left over from the last flooding that a body could get hung up on or wedged under. The searchers and some volunteers have been running some very high end sonar and side scan and haven't located him yet. The creek had some pretty good current from the rains that first night so if he is in the water he may have went way on downstream if he didn't hang up on something. The entire creek has been scanned at least 4 or 5 times and nothing yet found.
I am still offering my boat to help since I have the Gen 3 Lowrance equip with structure scan but there is already heavy boat traffic up there trying to help. I will still go if needed. Would need one person to go with me. PM if I can help this weekend.

D***, I was hoping for better news but this is no real surprise due to the number of days since his son was found. Sometimes I think it should be mandatory for adults to wear life jackets while on a boat because you never can tell when you may get tossed out of it suddenly and you are in a world of trouble.
