Yeah that's why we are using the state park.
I have had 3 Truck break ins in the past 30 years ..One at Cedar Creek Lake Caney City public ramp two on Tawakoni 751 and East end of two mile bridge ..

This BASSTASTICAL Event expresses a whole new " Art too Angling..."
Quite overwhelming ...Anglers are really reaching out to be part of an event which will give some local graduate a chance to reach a goal in life that's perhaps an answer to a Grand Parents Prayer.

The scholarship applicants will be asked to submit a word essay related to their love for the outdoors and the recipient will be selected accordingly and awarded by Linda Deaton prior to graduation .


Applicant instructions will be available at the tournament .

Many tournament contestants have already said they are donating their winnings back to the scholarship ...

Now you see the "Art too Angling ..."

Sounds like a good event for an even better cause!! I will probably join in on the fun!! Hopefully the word is getting out and a lot of people turn out for a good cause!! How many teams are already registered? Can I share this info on social media to help get the word out?

Registration will begin at the State Park Boat Ramp parking lot early that morning .

26 something won. They also had a 10.72 i believe. What a HOG!!!

Big BASS ~20 year old from Quinlan Texas caught a 10.76 on a black jig in rod deep water in a little pocket on the backside of some willows next the bank.

All and all everyone helped raise $2300.00
towards the scholarship..

Art to Angling award went out to the team of Tommy Martin and Brady Winans..
They donated there winnings back to the scholarship ...
