Coopers BBQ New Braunfels.

I handed my my plate of brisket to the manager and told him it was the nastiest beef that I have ever tasted.

He thanked me and asked if he could replace it.

I declined.

Normally I would have just walked out and said nothing.

I am still pissssed. That's all, rant over.

Yep, that's what brisket looks like if you wrap it in foil and cook it in the oven at 350* for about 5-6 hours. One of my neighbors does this and it tastes just like a roast.

Let me ask a question here, let's assume nobody is perfect, mistakes happen and every once in a while a bad cut of meat slips through the cracks. Now unfortunately you got one of these, the manager offered to replace it. I bet he would have given you your money back????? You declined his offer to try and make it right and you are still pizzed you say. What could he have done that would have fixed your issue so you not leave pizzed?

Had me the worst brisket ever at Mesquite Pit couple weeks back. I didn't expect great but order 3 meat combo to try some things and it was so dry it just flaked apart. They made it right and charged for 2 meat plate but that pic above looks 5x better than what I was served at Mesquite Pit. barf

Mesquite pit in weatherford has some good stuff but none of it is bbq. I have up on getting bbq there bout 10 years ago.

+1. My last visit to a Coopers was the one in Llano. Nasty fatty meat. My dad and I would stop there to eat on our way to hunt in Mason county. It was good then. Not so much now.
