I have a 1987 Ranger 360V and was wondering if I can buy a flipping deck extension directly from Ranger. Any help is appreciated!

You should call them and ask.

They didn't have one for my 1992 362V, but do have some for older boats.

I have a 1982 330v, I built my own and it turned out helping tremendously. Was able to add a radio and a couple storage boxes as well. It helped that I was about to recarpet the boat so it all matched. Took a little time to get measurements right but really not that hard. Built out of 2x4's and plywood, then coated several times with fiberglass resin. Feels like it doubled the deck area, along with adding more storage.

That turned out nice. Did you fasten it down somehow?

Thanks for the info guys. I found a place that makes custom aluminum decks wrapped in carpet but they are located in Georgia and have to have the boat. I'll give Ranger a call and if they don't have them I guess I'll just build one.

No I planned on fastening it down but it fits pretty tight and weighs about 50 lbs, been in some very rough water and it hasn't moved.

I highly doubt that Ranger still makes one. They didn't when I called about one for my 94 361v. I built one out of marine grade wood and it turned out nice. I made an extra storage compartment and a insulated cooler in mine. Ranger told me that on things like deck extensions that when the mold gets too bad to use it is too costly to make a new mold for something they hardly sell anymore.

I have a 95 461vs, I called up Ranger and they made me one. Took a few months and I wouldn't go without it now.

My pristine 1992 Ranger 361v got totaled out on the freeway a couple years ago and Ranger had everything to factory duplicate the entire trailer from boat matched fiberglass fenders to carpeted bunks. Surprised me. Want to know how I knew for sure? Called them! (Sorry) Ranger Boats 1-800-373-BOAT

Yeah talked to a rep at a boat show and he said that they can replace everything original for any boat they have ever made. Going to call today and see about the deck extension and some new carpet.
