I have completed the install on my new Garmin 93sv, but have not had an opportunity to test on the water yet. Does the location for my transducer look correct? There was not a better place to attach it, but am not sure if there will be interference due to it not being at the lowest point of boat. Appreciate any feedback.

It will work just fine there while you are at idling speeds. Note that at planing speeds, the xducer will be out of the water so you won't get any readings when on plane. Given you have no engine setback/jackplate, you will have to trim the engine up to get the lower unit from interfering with the left beam of SideVu.

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Being a smaller boat with only 90hp motor, I doubt I'll have the issue of it being out of the water when on plane.

If you can get on plane, you will loose signal. I don't have a jackplate and have no issues with losing the left side of SideVu. Even at low speeds I would have the transducer one eighth to one quarter inch below the step or you could lose some readings.
