Yeah I tired that. It was in the middle of the night. Just didn't know if anyone has come across a big school like that and couldn't get them to bite. This was in Lake Mineral Wells too. Don't know if they have stripe or white bass. I know there are a ton of drum in there. Maybe them.

If you want your to get your Electronics dailed in perfect you owe it to yourself to schedule a meeting with Mr Slade Dougherty aka Forkfish at lake fork.He is an electronics wizzard. You wont believe how sharp & clear images on your bird will be after he`s done with your unit/units.He has tuned myself and a lot of other guy`s electronics on this forum.Do yourself a favor and give Slade a call you wont be dissapointed.

Nice clean pic, WCR. That must be some clear clean water. I sometimes turn on Fish ID on my HDS just to help pick out the fish from the limbs and clutter.

I finally got around to downloading a few screenshots onto my computer to share with y'all. These are from a Humminbird 999. This image was from this summer. Needless to say, we stopped and fished here. Due to the quantity of fish, I figured it was sandbass but it turned out to be mostly crappie with sandbass mixed in.

I thought I hit the jackpot on this tree! This is a huge submerged tree that people have sunk Christmas tree's into the middle of it's branches. The fish on the outside were mostly big bluegill. We had to drop our jigs way down into the middle of the Christmas trees to get to the crappie. We lost a lot of jigs but boy was it worth it! That tree held some big, mean crappie!
