For the nest I use Enforcer Foam. For the Lone Wolf type I got a Badminton racquet and my kill rate went through the roof.... Plus they make a nice boing sound too.

That is what I use when we are in the pool. The heck with a normal fly swatter, the racket is the ticket. I try knocking them clean over the fence.

Soapy water knocks 'em down just as well and is much cheaper ... just get a basting syringe (being a nurse I have access to all sorts of things that spray and blast.)

In my experience soapy water is a sure fire way to get your arse tore up by wasps.

I don't know what lopers are.

They are what I use to trim my trees and if you had ever heard me speak you would know that my speech is as bad as my spelling. In fact I don't even know if that is just a word I have always used or if it is an actual name for this tool. It is a large claw looking tool I use to cut off small tree limbs with. One day swatting at a red wasp that decided I was invading his space and hit the end of that tool and put a large gap in the palm of my hand. I was cussing that wasp trying to hold a reel and fish for the next couple of weeks after that. I have so many bees at my property that I normally don't pay any attention to but that one was the DEVIL.

Oh carp.

I pick 'em off one by one with my air rifle.

I also use Dawn and water in a spray bottle on them once I knock em silly with the racquet. I kinda stumbled on that mixture one day. I was outside cleaning something and a Stink Bug was crawling and I gave it a shot, it walked about a foot and flipped over on its back, kicked its legs for a few seconds and it was over... It is my go to Stink Bug mix.

I've never been stung by a bee or wasp. But apparently I'm a delicacy for spiders. I think I have been bit at least fifty times over the years.

My daughter freaks out on just about any flying insect, to her they are all wasps. I can tolerate wasps, but I do respect them. I've sat in deer stands where there would be dozens of them flying around and through the stand. When they get too close for comfort I just blow on them. The disturbed air seems to disorient them and they will leave me alone.

My nemesis is yellow jackets. I absolutely hate those things. They are terrorists and will attack anything without provocation. I can count on one hand how many times I've been stung by a wasp, cannot count how many times I've been hit by a yellow jacket.

If you're not living on the edge, you're taking up too much space!
