Yep they'll work.... I made these going on 3 yrs now, placed them in 15-25 foot... This picture is of the third batch, I dropped on 8 spots total. I made over 100, not all spots are good. 3 out of 8 are real good 3 are sometimes ok, 2 are catfish holes.. Study your map, I have also dropped on good spots and ruined it ? I don't know why..
