Mojo Bass, Dobyns Fury, Daiwa DX, Okuma Guide Select Daiwa DX is your best for throwing the biggest baits comfortably in that price range. Ive tossed around a Roman Made Mother on the DX and it wasnt "THAT" bad lol First time to throw a lure that cost 400% more than the rod used to throw the lure?

4 to 5 ounce? I'm not familiar with this technique. Are you fishing the A rig or just a heavy jig head? I'm wanting to throw a jointed wood or resin swimbait around 6-9" long. They are generally 4-5 Oz fron what I've seen.

For a 4 or 5 oz bait I'd recommend the dobyns fury 806. The 795 is a little underpowered for anything over 4 IMO.
Swimbaits Only.
