Those traps have been out for 6 days and not 1 rat, today, we caught two birds. hammer
Looks like I'm gonna go back to setting traps again.

Now, let's see what else we can mess up around here.

About a year ago our dog got into one. I had to cut all sorts of hair to get that thing off.

Next time use EVOO. That way when the cat eats them off the bird bath, it won't be as bad for its cholesterol.

Carolina wrens. Extremely common around here. I've got two pair in the back yard.

Yeah the stripe along the side of the head wasn't quite matching up to a Brown Thrasher.

I caught four copperheads with glue traps over the last two years, and probably half-a-dozen stupid little birds. Cooking oil does work to offset the glue.

[quote=aquaholic1822]When I was in elementary school, I got home and we had a sparrow in our fire place. I caught it with a fishing net, tied fishing line around its leg and flew it around in the backyard.

Mom came home and took me to baseball practice so I left the rod and bird on the trampoline...when we got back the bird was hangin upside down on the edge of the trampoline....I got in trouble for that one [/quote

Can you imagine doing that with one of the Peruvian Condors ? thumb

You could soak them in gasoline, throw a match, and have baked bird ala Uncle Rob.
