you can replace them with metal or stainless fenders the fenders you have are not really fiberglass more of a plastic composite and very hard to repair. when somebody has a tire blow out at 70 mph it will beat them up more than a metal fender. How do you get the steps in front and back of the fender?

I repaired them from a 2013 fx21 ex loader with tigerhair. Then overcoated with a rubberized spray similar to the trailer undercoating. Converted it to a Triton Trailer and came out very nice. The are a composite fender easy to repair. I also have these for sale come off a Triton for $200 for both (which are fiberglass).

Keep an eye on bottom of the cross beams where the water drains out, they will rust out, ez-loaders are notorious for breaking in half at the beams while trialering. We just had to replace the trailer on our 2009 Iclass due to crossbeams rusted and broken. Lucky we didnt lose the boat. Kernan and McClain saw it thankfully before that happened.

There is a whole in each cross beam at its lowest point for the water to drain out. Sand and small gravel fills this low spot up and allows it to hold water. Then the rusting begins. Every time I unload the boat I stick a pencil in those holes to make sure they are clear of sand and etc.. It is a pain; but that is all you can do. I will never have another tube trailer; going with the old school channel beams and cross members.

Thank you guys for all the advice. Ez loader should have had a class action suit against them for the junk they sold! I'll post however I figure out a cheap fix. I'll pull them and look at the trailer cracks ... and see if the pos EZ Loader trailer is salvageable

What did you expect them to do? Warrant a 10 year old trailer?
As for the ones falling apart after a few years, I would be all over them. That's rediculous

No I would expect them to build a quality product that would last 10 years!!! I agree, but my point is what do you expect them to do? If they replaced everyone's trailers and fenders every 10 years they wouldn't be in business. The 2-3 year issues is another story. What warranty does your vehicle have? Just had to replace a bunch of [censored] on my wife's 2013 SUV. It sucks, do I expect ford to pay for it? No, we drive a lot of miles and he warranty was up 20,000 miles ago

ez loader builds lots of trailers for many boat companies. in our area the tube trailers don't last as long as a c channel is because or the salt content in some of the lakes like pk Granbury texoma an whitney most other parts of the country they do fine. the plastic type fenders look great but after miles an blowouts going 70 mph it takes its toll . guys used boats are like new cars the newer they are generally the less problems they have but realistically after 10 yrs a manufacturer of anything on a boat should not be responsible . in texas we put a lot more miles on trailers than most other states .

10 years true, I just happen to have bought a boat with very minimal use. 172 hours when I bought it a year ago. I'm putting some miles on it now and I'm sure these issues would have arose years ago. I still think it's a pos trailer for the price paid. I'll repair it and try to post what I did so maybe it helps others along ng the way.

Ronnie when you decide what you want to do your more than welcome to bring the boat to my shop to work on the trailer I have plenty of room and have a little experience with paint and I work or fiberglass daily.
The kitty hair that commented about earlier is some.strong stuff aswell as.dynaglass its not as strong at the kitty hair because it has less fiberglass strands in it.
If I was spending the time do repair those fenders though I would just use mat and resin. Your welcome to give me a call or text and we can talk about it.

These trailers were manufactured with a defect when they all came out of the EZ Loader plant. Some trailers showed signs faster than others. It had something to do with too many washers put on bolts to secure fiberglass fenders to the trailer and that it didn't allow ample support for trailering, stepping on, etc. Eventually, they will all mess up. There should have been a lawsuit against this company a long time ago. The only reason my 10yr old boat hasn't shown signs is because the original owner never used it. I bought it in Aug2015 with 72hrs. It now has 130hrs but I'm keeping my fingers crossed every day. It's only a matter of time. My other '07 that I bought new showed signs of cracking after two years, and then I did research and found out it was a faulty defect in manufacturing. The trailers are only warranted for 2 years, but Skeeter finally agreed to replace mine. EZ Loader wasn't going to budge. They still never was able to match up color of fenders with color of boat, but it was hard to notice by the naked eye. At least I had new fenders at their expense. Biggest piece of junk that a nice, quality boat sits on....hardly makes any sense!

Nice Carlos! I know your trailer had the axles changed and I believe Adam checked, or beefed up, the framework at the fender mount on the frame

EZ Loader = junk
I second the mention of checking your cross members. Mine r ok for now, but I have a buddy with the same year model boat, every single cross member is cracked and rusted. Skeeter should be ashamed to put such a quality boat on a junk trailer. Mine sounds like a rattle trap going down the road. Lol
