Remington Model 600 Mohawk in 6mm. I inherited from a great uncle.

Marlin Model 60
I don't have many guns.
Loved mine too until it started jamming. Cheap, fun and accurate plinker.

Loved mine too until it started jamming. Cheap, fun and accurate plinker. I bought one brand new in the late 70's that jammed ..... traded it for a scope and bought my first 10/22 My favorite right now is my Marlin in 45-70 ...... kills on both ends with the right wrong ammo

Winchester model 67, bolt action, single shot 22...less the scope dangit. My Dad bought it years ago for $15. Thousand of rounds have been through it. Most accurate single shot I've ever had in my hands. Dad has this same rifle without the scope. It was given to him by his father. Story is that Opa traded a cord of wood for it. No telling how many thousands of rounds have been through it and how many varmints and deer were taken with it back in the day. Very accurate!

I used to shoot so much I wore two guns out ... first was a Remington 552A and the other was my first Ruger 10/22 .... barrel wore so bad the bullet would miss by several inches in all directions. I put a new barrel on it and shot it until somebody broke in my house and stole it!
And now I am paying for it because I can't hear much from the constant ringing.

My dad's 30.06 he converted from an A1 Springfield to a custom hunting rifle and dropped a buck at 357 yrds.
I don't doubt the claim. Besides being an expert marksman, he had excellent taste in guns. I made some incredible shots with his 9 shot High Standard .22.
