Caught this one on main lake b/p in 13 FOW today 1-13-17.
Thought it was a bass at first....1.52 and 14in.
Caught on 1/32 oz. Dan's Jigs!

Only one other keeper up river.

Caught about 6 other dinks.

At least I got one biggun!

I'm always in a good mood when I'm fishing.

Granger kills me year round. I can get on good fishing, but I swear for me that lake is home of the 9.5inch crappie!

Good fish, Kevin. I can't wait to see that new trolling motor. Hope your hip is healing up ok.
I got me a new Helix 7 SI. Haven't mounted it yet.

For anyone interested, I will be doing crappie seminars at the Belton Boat Show again next weekend and I will also be teaching a class at the Crappie University being held at ACC in Austin.

Hey Tommy, Looking forward to another great crappie season on Granger!
I just started walking on my own without crutches Thursday. I am so glad to be getting back to normal.

I'll have to take ya out on my boat and show you what the new trolling motor can do.
Still have a lot to learn, but have the basics down that will help me to stay on a spot.

PM me if you need any help installing your Helix or if you need help with putting out new brush!

I hope to make it out to the boat show in Belton this year!
