Buried my 14 year old setter yesterday. Last of a line of great dogs I've had. Never shocked em once.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

No ot sure if anyone answered your question. I dont know of a company that makes both. The good bark collars have sensor that actually detects the vibratin of the larnax of the dog it is on. That way it go off when another dog barks.
they are very humane and dogs learn very quick with them.

Retirement best job ever.

I think Kodys papa and I did answer. If you work with your dogs you don't have to electrocute them. When in the field I could whistle and point, no yelling and hollering. If they were barking I could walk to the door and they stopped unless there was something there.

I've seen more kids that need a shock collar than dogs.

You should be able to control your animal, not let it be a neighborhood nuisance. Nice looking dog solamisandwich!

You would think for the price a training collar would have the option of both training and as a bark limiter. A dog should only need a bark limiter for a short time anyway until the adjustment is over. I figure that's why a lot of them wind up in the bargain cave at cabelas. Regardless, I presume the sensor is a totally different circuit than that of the training collar? Otherwise, it just doesn't make any sense to me why the feature couldn't be incorporated for both purposes.

I have the same problem. Get some good loud computer speakers, hang them out a window facing the dog, and crank her up full blast. I'm particularly fond of doing this a 3am when I have to get up anyway for my late-hour leak.
