i have a old set of seats in the shop. I will measure the mounting bracket. i dont think it was that high up. the reasons for the height is support on the backs.

If they are the older style that mount like this seat back at the bottom, they might work

If they are the ones that you remove the back cushion and screw through the plastic they probably won't. I exhausted all the searching that I could stand and just went to Cabelas today after work and bought the fold down seats. I really thought that it was going to be as simple as search a few sites, choose the color and style that I wanted and click buy. Boy was I wrong.

What color are they and what do you want for them? Might be interested in buying them if you are wanting to sell them. I haven't installed the cabelas seats yet.

The seams coming apart on one and the other is fine. You can have these and see if they will fit than you might order new from lebroc. They still may make covers for these.

Being as close to Llebroc's as you are I would take my boat by their factory in Ft Worth. They should be able to fit you a set of seats.

Also, if you're ever on the BBC, maybe send Texomaman a pm - he has an older Champion and had Dean's build him a set of bucket seats (I think they were for late model Legends) and they look amazing! I think they are pictured on their website.

I ended up with a pair of seats from Cabelas that fit pretty good, had metal hinges and look pretty good. I'm going to run them until they need to be replaced. After I got them Dean's told me that I could use a later model seat that they have that has an aluminum one piece frame. I'm happy with what I installed for now
