Very close 2nd to Memphis. I have a very close call in East St Louis one night about 1:00AM. Took an exit hoping for a potty break and quickly ended up if a very bad area. I quickly turned around and drove the wrong way back up the streets to the interstate exit ramp and ran back up it the wrong way to get back on the interstate. Once I saw the thugs on the street corner eyeing me over really good I did not care at that point.

I've been all over the great US of A and Philly is absolutely the worst city in this country. It's trashy and the folks who live there obviously have no pride cause they'll just throw their cans, bottles, sacks, etc. down on the sidewalks and streets. And the people are the rudest in the country as well. Correct. This is the right answer.

In the states, Philadelphia. Overseas, Naples, Italy.
Really surprised at how nice Seattle was, overseas Monte Carlo, heck, they even wash the seagull poop off the rocks every night.

I spent an eternity once in Chicago(compressed into 4 months) while in training school.....and to make matters worse,company I worked for sent me to Detroit for 2 weeks including Thanksgiving week which I spent in a downtown hotel that was barely above a flop house....this was in the mid 60's and I'm sure everything in those two cities has gone downhill since....

You can tell by some selections they haven't been to a lot of cities across the US.
