Amistad was an incredible fishery. And it will be again. I voted Fork too, it's a Dead Sea... What a shame.  I voted for Amistad, one of the most beautiful lakes to visit, but the fishing is off a bit.

If you're a guide on Choke or Cooper you probably are very hungry, those were my 2 votes. Guides on Fork seem to be doing pretty good mostly due to the lakes reputation. The top 4 best lakes in Texas are Toledo Bend, Rayburn, Falcon and Amistad in that order, JMO.

None of those lakes have any fish in them... y'all should sell your boats and take up golf!

I used to be able to catch fish on Fork. Not now. I will say I went with a guide earlier this year and had my best 5 fish limit (almost 8lb average). Some guides know how to falt out catch them!

I just goggled "best bass lakes in Texas" and those are what came up.
I would've added Athens myself but it was not on the list.
