Forgot to add. Controlling the clock has helped the defense a lot. Usually even when forced to punt they eat a little clock. Minus that stupid 17 second drive. And I think one or two other dumb drives. There's enough weapons to sustain drives. Beastly is the best slot receiver in the league right not. Witten isn't showing signs of slowing down either. Hell he's having one of his best seasons. McFadden should be back soon too.
Keep controlling the clock, and the defense will sustain enough.
And even if they fall short this year. The foundation is set for several years of really good football. They are a couple defensive picks short of being good. Free agents will be more willing to sign with them also. Wisdom

Did anyone watch the d line in the forth quarter ? Didn't matter what scheme they ran, rush 3, rush 4, they looked gassed... The skins offense was on the field a lot more than other teams prior, we scored all we could, but, if not for the missed FG's they would have kicked our butts. The last possession we had to win the game, possibly could have scored if needed..
Skins 500+ yards offense, that's----- deplorable...LOL seriously.

yup, only 3 times out of 34 has a team lost a game after posting 500+yards on defense, miracle we won

I don't know of many teams that have won in the playoffs and the Superbowl with out some kind of sac count from the d line, I don't think any team really, this is what has me worried. Agree 100%. This is really what worries me. When was the last time a team won a super bowl without a legitimate star pass rusher? Looking through the last 20 years, there may have been 2 or 3. You can't give playoff QBs 5 seconds or more to find wide receivers. The reason we lost in 2014 was because we didn't touch Rogers one time that game. But who knows. Anything can happen in the playoffs. I don't think the Cowboys are an "elite" team. They've won a lot of close games with clutch play in the 4th quarter. That's great, but not always sustainable against the best of the best.

Cowboys will clinch home field throughout the playoffs by week 16, probably 13-2, Coach sits Dak and inserts Romo to get him ready to play.....Romo plays good.......Dak struggles in playoffs.....Romo goes in........Romo saves the games and wins Superbowl.....Everybody is happy.....except for you!

Heck I can only imagine the knee jerk reactions when they finally lose a game. People will panic to no end....  This is a good team. Gonna be fun to see how the rest of the year plays out. This is the most enjoyable season in many years and no matter how it ends up I will still be a Cowboys fan. Their future looks great!!!!
