I've heard very good things about Jack Ryans and have wanted to try it the next time we are out there visiting family.

If you went there back in 2013, the cook is now the owner of Bodacious on Mobberly Avenue in Longview. He married the daughter of long time owner of Bodacious. You should stop in a try his place now....he still talks about Stanleys. He invented a couple things they still serve there.

http://www.texasmonthly.com/food/the-top-25-new-and-improved-bbq-joints-in-texas/ - Scroll down to Bodacious. They are not all the same, as the owner has Franchised them and recipes change. This one on Mobberly is the real deal. Father in law is there watching his son in law pass on the tradition.

Thanks for that info!! I'll have to check out that Bodacious and Longview is a little closer! I started going to Stanley's around 2012 and was just random then when I dated a girl in Tyler I ate there a LOT lol!! I think the breakfast burritos were my fav thing about that place.

I haven't eaten a lot in Tyler, but I went to Mama's Cafe and it was great for Breakfast.
