Pretty cool! Mite wanna reconsider your weight guestaments though.jmho You may be right! I am no Alligator Gar expert. The big one was well over 6ft and the smaller one was over 4 ft. We did some crude measuring. Next time I am taking a take measuring tape with me. I used a shark rig and carp slabs as bait. What's the best rig setup and bait?

Nice fish and nicely done! Good job. Side Note: A good formula to use to get a ball park weight is Girth times Girth times length,divided by 800. Example. Fish Girth is 8". It's length is 9". 8X8 equals 64x9 equals 576 Divided by 800 equals .72 Lbs. This weight is not an official weight. It will be in the "ball park"! Great to estimate weights.
