Folks, Darryl's surgery has been postponed. He has been moved to another hospital and is presently in the care of a surgeon that specializes in the exact procedure Darryl needs. No new surgery date has been given as of yet, please continue to lift our good friend up in your prayers!

Just wanted to update everyone. With all that Darryl and his family have had to go through recently, we went ahead and gave them the money we had collected up through today. We will continue to accept donations for those who wish to give.

We want to personally thank everyone who has contributed. I know your kindness is going to be a help to Darryl and his family.

My family and I can't thank everyone enough for all the support we have received through all this. This is definitely a very hard time for us and you guys is what keeps us going. This is far from over and isn't going to get any easier. My surgery has been pushed to the beginning of the year because my pancreas is not healthy enough to endure the surgery I have to have. We are in the process of finding an apartment or cheaper place to live in order to take some of the burden off my wife. With new insurance premiums and deductibles coming up, we have no choice but to put this in the good lords hands and roll with it. I can tell you one thing, this is not easy by any means for me, but this has truly brought my family close and we will fight to the end. Thanks to everyone that has offered your support to us.

All, due to the weather forecast of low to mid 40s and a constant light rain from 5 AM to 4 PM we have decided to postpone this event and reschedule. Two dates in mind ate January 7 and January 14, Scott Gordon and I are working now to lock in a date, acquire new permits , and will advise the moment we lock it in. I do apologize for any inconvenience, and hope that all of you will be able to make the rescheduled date. If you have already purchased toys for the registration please go ahead and donate them at any toys for tots location or at your local firehouse, most of them are doing canned food and toy drives as well.

I'm in for the 7th!! Can't wait for this one!

Rain or shine this event will be held! We are pulling out all of the stops to make this a "first class" event. Even if it's cold or the fishing is slow, this event will be a lot of fun while most importantly helping out one of our own (Daryl Roach) and his family who seriously need our support. Please come out and be a part of this event as it will surey be a great way to start the New Year!

Thank you everyone for everything! I was fired because of all this so if anyone knows anyone hiring in the Optical business, please let me know! Surgery is schedule in 2 days! We can't wait to get the healing process started and get Darryl home!

THIS SATURDAY!

Cannot wait to kick off the New Year with the first big open tournament of the new season while providing some much needed help to our friend and fellow angler, Darryl Roach and his family. I urge the TFF family and North Texas tournament anglers to join us for some competiton on the Vine as well as an AWESOME time!

This event will be going "rain-or-shine"! We will have a great raffle for some awesome prizes as well as food starting at 3:00pm at Bass Pro Shop in Grapevine. Regardless if the weather is cold or the fishing slow, come join us for a great time!
