Thanks Chuck for the information. I have also heard that the Nueces in the Three Rivers area has some good flow and is up. This means a pretty good white bass run is likely!

The White Bass run should be AWESOME!

Super post and BIG congratulations on the record fish. What flies work the best and what types of spinner baits would you fish the canyon during spring? Will be there this upcoming spring with two friends. Will be fishing the Nueces and Frio Rivers.

It seems that the sinking flies worked best when we were there. Poppers did catch some fish but were not as effective!

Will be fishing the Nueces and Frio Rivers. as far as spinnerbaits white works best out here id also bring a rebel crickhopper in yellow the small size. A jointed rapala black and silver and yesenias goto lure. A superfluke in watermelon fished weightless

You all really added to it! Again HUGE CONGRATULATIONS! Six records in one day. Probably the only time that has been done!
