just got a response from Duckett. Sean over there says that the Micro Magic Pro are now the top of the line rods. Here is his quote from the email:The micro magic had many changes throughout its existence which finally ended up as the micro magic pro which is pretty much bullet proof and can finally say we are done.

This doesnt help me much since i dont own any of the MMP rods lol.

All I can say is I have 20 of their rods and the only couple of problems that I have had the customer service was above and beyond what I would have expected. You wont find a lighter and balanced rod that fishing and holds up like a Duckett!

I have 12 of them. i do love the rods and the customer service. just getting frustrated with the constant repairs having to be done or the replacments that ahve to be done.

we will see what happens. if i sell them all then maybe ill give the micro magic pro a shot. way to much money to try and switch brands. dobyns are nearly double the price and for 200 bucks i dont think you can find a rod that matches the performance. ive used cheaper rods and i wont go back to that. Mega bass is about the only rod i have found that compares but again its double the price.

They may be great rods but I wouldn't buy them because of the man. He whines worst than Arron.

Guys it's ok. Sean sent me some rod sox, 2 hats, and 26 duckett stickers. That magically fixed the rod guide problem that I am having. Hell he could have sent me the Micro Magic Pro that he spoke so highly of.

A rod sock and hat is pretty strong medicine so be careful. Are all the stickers the same?

Yes. All 26 of them. I wonder if he will give me 13 rods if I just got to a boat ramp and stick them on trailers. Haha.
