He just cleaned and upgraded bearings in my Shimano Metanium MG and fixed the handle...it is SWEEEEET. I also bought a Curado from him that he upgraded, very nice also. He is quick and reasonable. He lives in Burleson and works in south Ft. Worth, I picked mine up in Ft. Worth....

Yes I work a regular job and also have a very energetic 11 going on 12 month old son at home so Im not always able to quickly get the reels done. I supposed I could charge a higher fee for expedited service that way the wife might be more ok with me spending more time on reels! lol. I do try my best to do them as quickly as possible though. Thanks again for all the PM's and business guys!

Finally got around to upgrading from my little ultrasonic to the bigger harbor freight heated one. WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE BEFORE THIS THING? I did 2 Ambassaduer 5500 c reels with this last night and they came out AMAZING. No more scrubbing with a toothbrush and using 1000 q tips to get grime out of tight places. Put all the parts in there on the longest heated cycle pulled them out and wiped them down with a blue shop towel paper towel and everything came out looking like new! The heated function is where its at. This cut probably 30-40mins off of my cleaning time as well.
Just wanted to update everyone. I should be mostly caught up after this weekend and am enjoying my new cleaner. Hit me up if you need a reel cleaned!

Just be careful with the cleaner and not get it too hot you tarnish the paint esp on the old 5000s

Basically just warm enough to really get all that gunk loose. Ive done a couple of 200e Citica's and my own Daiwa Tatula and all of them have come out looking amazing with much less effort on my part. Tonight Ill be trying out a Curado 50e and 200e!

Just wanted to let everyone know I will be taking a break from cleaning reels for a few months. Need to catch up on things around the house and would like to be able to focus on fishing a bit more in these coming fall months. Ill bump this post again when I am back up and running. Thanks everyone for all the business so far this year! You guys have been awesome.

Due to an increase in demand and also due to me having a lot more experience in this now, and also having thought about it long and hard. I am now upping the price of my reel cleanings to $25 per reel ($30 if its super dirty/grimey) The amount of time and effort that goes into cleaning and servicing reels is no joke and I feel at $15 per reel it was no longer being worth my time. I started out at that price when I began this ordeal mainly doing friends/ buddies reels. It has since grown into kind of its own little side business for me and I feel if Im having to take time away from my family and my fishing to do these then it better be worth it. To all my past customers I thank you for your business and I hope you will continue to do business with me. I will still run specials from time to time so keep an eye out for those. Thanks TFF for all your support and I have enjoyed cleaning and servicing your reels!
