Thanks in advance.

Easy to tell who the salesmen are here, like sharks on meat.

Buy a good used boat. Save a bundle. Be patient and grab exactly what you want.

Try Resource One, rates were around 3.5% a few months ago.

Guy asks for recommendations in the open forum and people respond with their input. If it makes me a salesman recommending my friend who also happens to provide my boat loan financing then I guess I'm guilty. Sure hope I get my commission...

Double ditto! I have financed several boats and cars through them for that matter. You won't find a cheaper rate on used boats anywhere and they are easy to do deal with. Last used boat I financed was 3.25% for as many months as I wanted up to 10 years I believe.

My experience with RecLending.com was horrible. I don't recommend them at all. Also kinda shady the way they structure certain parts of the agreement.

I bought my boat through Fun n Sun and US BANK picked up the loan. In 2012 when I bought it I got a rate of 3.5%. I am sure it depends on your credit but national rates have not changed much since then.

The best loan that I can give you is advice. Save first, and then buy used...

Well OK then Doug R... go ahead and post your full name if you want to call someone out. Why would I want my full name as a screen name, I'm not trying to sell something on here.
