What's the fee for Dobyns? 60 or 70 bucks I believe is what I heard but not sure. I've bought one brand new and a few used. Absolutely love them.

Academy will swap anything no questions asked. I bought a veritas there a few years back that snapped while casting and as soon as I walked through the door with a rod in 2 pieces they said go get what you want, I told them I had the receipt and he shrugged it off like I was being OCD or something

Falcon has no issues on warranty exhcanges Rod broke in 3 pieces on a hook set. That is not abuse. That's manufacturer defect. Falcon did not warranty the rod. Was an t7 cara I believe. Since then I have switched rod companies. Are you saying they didn't offer you the $50 replacement? I have probably sent 20 plus rods back to Falcon over the year (I am hard on my rods), I let them examine them and make a determination if it a free warranty replacement or if they will do the replacement where you send in $50 and they send you a new rod. I would say about 70% of the time they replace it free of charge in my case.

Falcon sucked last time I dealt with them.....7-8 years ago.
Had to use one of their reps to get a replacement. Got the replacement and sold it.
Cara broke 8" from the tip on first trip with it.
Now I only use Dobyns and haven't had any problems. Had one defective from the factory and it was replaced within 2 days.

I have never had any issue with Falcon. I now own 3 Falcons. One original and 2 Cara's.

TFO Rods has an unlimited lifetime warranty on their rods. They will replace any broken rod with no questions asked. You must return the handle part of the rod to them and for either $35 or $45 (depending on the series) they will replace it. You can mail it to them or go by their location in Dallas. I was up there yesterday to get a broken rod replaced. I had owned the rod for about 3 yrs. They did not have that series anymore so Rick Pope gave me one from their new Professional series as a replacement. Cost $35. They also have a "Return" rod area where they keep all of the rods they use as demo's, boat shows, fishing events, etc. These are new unused rods (many still in the plastic with tags). You can get one of these for roughly %50 of new rod price. I picked up a 7'3" heavy duty for $56. I am not sponsored by them and have nothing to gain. They just have a very find rod and a great return policy. You can contact them at: TFO Rods or go by their plant at Temple Fork Outfitters 8105 Sovereign Row Dallas, Texas 75247 O
