WOW! Is an understatement! That is crazy to an old Hybrid guy like me. I don't think my tackle could handle it.

I fished for them in Tims Ford. Didn't catch anything that big.
Waiting on Bob Davis' next selfie

Texoma will never produce these kinds of fish again imo...look at all the pictures of people with tables full of decent sized stripes. They never even get a chance to make it to 40 lbs because they're being harvested by the time they are 2lbs, factor that in with the fact they can hardly reproduce. I had a day off during the week and i saw atleast 20 boats chasing the stripes. Not trying to be negative , i just find it hard to believe that stripers like these will ever be found in abundance in texoma for a while. Nice fish by the way , I'd love to hook up on one of those

I will guess all those fish were released! Catch, Photo, & Release will make a river/lake great! Very nice fish!

The larger fish in the photos were released. The guys I was with did keep some of the stripers from the lake because the water temp was high and some of the fish did not survive being caught. The really big fish were caught where the water temp was much lower and the big girls went back just fine. These lakes are all put-and-take fisheries, unlike Texoma there is little to no natural reproduction. The limits are much lower as well, you are allowed to keep two fish per day.
I have never fished Tim's Ford Lake. Trophy fishing requires time and effort. I caught the biggest fish on my first trip. I went back to the same place at the same time of year twice and caught nothing. My friend the guide in TN tells me for trophy fish plan on three days. You may only catch one or two fish but they start at 30 pounds and go up. He has caught fish over 60 pounds.
The guide I use does not have a company and he does not advertise, but he is absolutely the best striper fisherman I have ever met. He is also a good friend, and a super nice guy.
