I couldn't catch em deep but have had some awesome days shallow.

It's changed a lot since the water has came up and stayed up.

Have seen more checks cashed fishing shallow year around the past 2 years since our lakes filled back up, which is expected,

The bank beaters once again have good water to fish, 2011-'14 it was thougher to find numbers of bigger fish shallow past the spring.

I would rank it worse than normal overall. Lakes closed for weeks, high and dirty water for several weeks. Caught less "good bass" (2 - 4 lbs.)A couple of 5+ so can't complain much!

In memory of my childhood friend Dan Sterling, who taught me at an early age how to catch bream with a hand-line, and who unknowingly hooked me on fishing for life.

I've had my boat for a year now...I caught more fish in the few months I used it last year than this entire season thus far!!

A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

This year has been great for both numbers and size but it makes it easy when you mostly stay with one lake.
