I'm not an expert, but in my trips out there and a professional that hit it on "Lost Lake" there is good fishing all around up there. The boat lane is right there, so getting around is easy.
There are community holes everywhere, specifically you'll probably find quite a few people fishing the submerged island just north of the bridge, boat lane swings, humps, and unmarked channel swings. Also around the further north islands and pump station.
Watch the turns on the boat lanes, and don't run anywhere else outside of the lanes going north. If you head south to main lake, there is a lane some of the way to main lake. Once the lane ends, running to the main lake is sort of a trick. But that is where you will find tall timber and supposedly a good deep crank bite.
I'd love to come out meet you guys and donate, but I have an appointment tomorrow night, so I can't make the meeting. I'll be looking for you guys next year!
Good Luck, and enjoy.... It is a BEAUTIFUL LAKE!

I haven't fished since the KYKX BBB in May. Does anyone know if all the grass or Hycinth or whatever it was is still up there ?

There's a little bit of grass, the hyacinth and pads are not as thick as last fall

I just crossed 155 today, no signs of hyacinth, water level looks good for a change. Luke, I graduated from Tarleton in 89, I will help you out if I can. When I get back from my business trip I will try to mark up a map and PM you. GO POO !

Interesting. They need to update their website cus it's not listed there. Thanks. Nevermind, it just wasn't listed under "Products" but was under "Downloads". :-)

You can run the boat lanes with no problem. I've fished that lake for over 20 years... once the markers end by the water intake up north, I would not run. Since you've never fished it, as long as you can see 155 bridge, you can get bit. I know people that are still catching good fish punching hyacinth mats. I'd fish highjacker, willow point and twin lakes.
