I just bought the Scag Tiger Cat and could not be happier with my purchase.. I really didn't need the commercial mower but I will also use it at the deer lease 3-4 times a year. I have that same mower and it is outstanding.

Sounds like your Grasshopper might be the right lawn tractor though! No question, the real John Deere mowers do the best job of mowing.
the chit they sell at Lowes not so much. I bought the JD from AG-Power in Terrell. I do like it. I use it for spraying, hauling dirt, grass branches, ect.... The Grasshopper 623T is a very nice Zero turn. The cut is very very good. I do like the fact that the front will fold up to clean and work on. I got a fantastic deal on it. http://www.grasshoppermower.com/mowers/frontmount-600/
