3. Deep cranking

If I could pick one way to catch them, it would be with a spinnerbait.

I love power fishing shallow water. Chatterbait, Squarebill, spinnerbait. But I think pitching a jig into heavy timber takes the cake for me. So fun feeling that tap as you jig falls throw the branches and you trying to get them out. Also love fishing docks.

Punching heavy cover with a minimum 1oz weight. Was a heck of a year for it too.

Sight fishing- nothing else is quite as good.

Top water early in the morning when the lake is glass. That's how my grandpa taught me how to bass fish and I still feel like a kid every time I get that top water explosion. #2 is Texas rigged worms, that's just a confidence bait for me
