Jack Nicklaus has won 18 majors but you would never know it by the way he carries himself. You can be great at something without being an a$$hole like Roland and his boy are. Not just my opinion either.

If they start a "senior tour" would nap time be included?

I've never thought of Roland as an a-hole. But...that is just my opinion. Actually I never thought of Scott that way either, but maybe you have inside information.

I think the "legends" rule is only going to qualify a couple of old timers, so it's not like they are going to crowd out a lot of the younger guys.

Heck yeah, and the boats are equipped with recliners front and back. One of the perks of being a senior.

Been around Scott several times for more than just a minute. I found him to be super friendly, respectful and not egocentric at all. I like the guy. Don't know his Dad but read somewhere that his biggest regret was what an ahole he was to to other anglers, fans, etc. during his professional career.

I don't know about Roland, but having met Scott briefly and seeing how he interacted with the hundreds of kids at an SETX HS event at Rayburn a few years back, I would strongly disagree with Scott being egocentric. Now I could care less about how he "pushes" products on his show, but it is his show and his livelihood, not mine.

Scott is a solid dude IMO my grandmother loves his show and actually emailed them a while back with a picture of me saying how I loved to tournament fish and was a big fan. He sent her a signed ranger hat and a signed picture. Just the fact that they went out of their way to make an old ladies day sure made me respect him.

Everybody is nice to "old ladies" even Roland. My beef with Scott started in a FLW tournament when he thought a guy was fishing his spot. He talked to and treated the guy like he was dirt. The guy was at the spot first. Even if he was ( the guy said he didn't know anybody had been fishing there before) Who fished where the previous day doesn't count, it's a new day. Maybe Scott should have put out a sign saying "Scott Martin's hole". If he had talked to me like that both of us would have been in his boat. The guy did leave because it was "Scott Martin".

My guess is old Roland is fishing the elites next year, why else would the tour event for Okeechobee get moved from the FLW to BASS, isn't that where Rolands marina is?
