Amazing how your muscles can do their job when they are tuned up properly.
You can avoid having ulcers by adapting to the situation: If you fall in the mud puddle, check your pockets for fish. ~Unknown
Open your eyes & look within, are you satisfied with the life you´re living.

You're welcome. I'll tell you now, Crocs are the worst footwear you can buy, if you're having ankle issues. You might want to go get fitted for a shoe at a running store, or talk to a podiatrist. Downright painful shoe. They have killing backs while counting money!

i fractured my pelvis, caused a huge bone spur on the SI joint, now i hurt all the time. most of the time not too bad luckily. several broken fingers and broken nose a few times, tore my right pec. i guess i am accident prone.
have hurt my ankles before, that is miserable. never worn a croc before just because of how they look. another good reason not to right there.

My insurance will be changing soon, and for my back issue, I hope massage therapy will be covered. Chiropractic service is covered, and I've used them for years, but I'm reading here that chiropractic service is not good for you.
It's worth a try to "try something different," so I will.
I do stretch extreme yesterday. I stretch a lot already, but I really gave it a go yesterday, and today I feel a bit better. I can only imagine what consistency will do for me.
...we'll see!

Regarding shoes and posture/spine/etc., I've seen the commercials, and I've seen a few stores that make those super expensive insoles.
Has anyone bought them? If so, please report!

Dislocated my shoulder yesterday and felt something tear. I used to dislocate it a lot when I was younger and never had it repaired. I was going to start playing golf again tomorrow. Looks like I'll wait a couple weeks.

5 knee surgeries on my right knee. I need a replacement, but not in my early 40s!! I know I can't run so I spend most of my time on my road bike. Going to start mixing in some swimming too.

Did you notice if you got a puncture in that finger? Is it just the knuckle, or the entire finger? Hurt to flex or bend the finger?

Some good info turning out here...
It would be nice if more of the OT cats would participate. I suspect with all the beer drinking stories I read, I'd surmise a few of those cats aren't in the best shape.
...not judging here, just stating that the "health/fitness" section was/is a good idea for the fishing forum.

Actually yes, small puncture showed up about the same time...same day, I think. Yes, it hurts to bend it. Mainly in that larger middle knuckle area...puncture is just above the first small knuckle. Infected? I can't pop my knuckle like I normally can....kinda hurts to put that type of pressure on it. I keep thinking popping it would fix it. It's popped a few times, but no relief.

Get to a doctor...a hand doctor if one is around. Seriously. I am going through this right now. You may have infectious flexor tenosynovitis...It is an infection of the sheath surrounding the tendon. It can cost you your finger, your hand, your arm, and then your life, if that's what you have and you do not get it taken care of. Seriously. I'm on oral antibiotics right now, but if there is not significant improvement by Thursday, they'll have to incise and flush the tendon to remove the infection. Go see a doctor. Hand infections can get out of control very, very quickly. Mine started 7 days ago when I got a small puncture in my index finger from a sticker on my dog's coat...got BAD Sunday and by yesterday I could no longer extend or flex my finger through the full range of motion. Go!
