Ike is very supportive of younger anglers. I watched his seminar at bass fest and he answered all the kids questions and hooked them up with baits. He even went so far as to give a kid who had a tournament on Texoma that next week his exact bag of plastics he was using to get his nice finish. Good guy.
As far as BassU goes, I think it's very helpful information to just about anyone. And at 100 dollars a year to watch it whenever, I feel like that's a pretty good deal for the amount of information you are getting and the ability to watch whenever you like. I think Ike gets a bad rap a lot for his intense behavior and wild antics but I do believe he is really good with kids and in my opinion one of the best pro anglers out there. He's a federation guy that came up to win a BFL champion ship, Angler of the year and a Classic win....... I'll listen to what he has to say.
