Me and my buddy and my aunt were all heading to the coast this past Friday and I wanted to pick up one more gallon of big marvs punch bait before I headed back home. Well come to find out where big marvs is made is where we had to pass through so I asked my aunt of we could stop by so I could pick one up off of marv personally and we ended up being able to stop. Let me tell you, just the 35 minutes I got to be there with big marv was one of the best 35 minutes of my life. I bought my 1 gallon off of him and then he showed me and my buddy his pond where these channel cats would come up to the surface and just eat food he would throw out. Then we got back to his house and he asked me again if I got my gallon already and I told him yes sir. Then he handed me a quart of his bait and said happy birthday. That ment so much to me. I will continue to purchase big marvs catfish bait for the rest of my life and do anything I can to get the word out to people about how good his bait is. I wish I could of stayed out there with marv and talked fishing all day long. Just that 35 minutes ment so much to me. Thank you so much marv.

Ryan I enjoyed meeting you all also. Maybe someday we can go fishing together. I thank you for pushing my bait so much. Maybe when you come back again I can convince my wife to let you catch one of those big channel cats. Hope you had good luck fishing this weekend.

I have been a Big Marv cheese bait fan back when it was called Bob's Cheese bait. Bob and his wife were great folks back then but I only knew Bob for a short while when he was on oxygen. These were fine folks to talk to...
I have used this bait ever since and have caught many fish over the years....big ones and small ones. I have been catfishing since 1966...have put a few in the boat.
So Marvin have a great day and maybe I will get a chance to visit you also as I did with the Finchers.

I'm also a Big Marv's fan from back when it was called "Bob's Cheese Bait."
I've tried some others during the short period of time it wasn't produced after Bob died, and his wife then turned it over to Big Marv.
I caught fish on the other baits I tried, but nothing could come close to how good that Bob's Cheese bait worked.
I'm just thankful that Big Marv took it over and kept it the same.
Maybe Marv can tell us exactly when the bait was founded, but I know I've used it since the early seventies.
There has been tons of south Texas catfish caught on that bait!

I remember in '90 or '91 calling and talking to Bob. I was 14 or 15 and he took awhile to answer the phone. When he finally picked up he said "sorry took so long. Been grinding chicken guts". Bought many gallons off him and have picked up the Marvs when I went through the Canyon Lake Area. Hands down the best punch bait I've ever used. It's the real deal.

Yea guys it's the best bait in my opinion. I stock up on it every summer. Have blown through gallons.

When it comes to catching those South Texas Channels, Big Marvs is the bait to use! Been using it a long time.
