I took a guided halibut trip at deep creek 3 weeks ago with "true grit". It is a "what did I sign up for" moment when you get on the boat with a 8' A frame ladder and start being backed by those tractors down the beach. If there is any wave action it gets really interesting. They at loading at an angle due to the speed of the current and timing is everything.
