Wondering if anyone has some pointers on which hotels in Granbury cater to the tournament guys...
Ample parking for truck & boat... Well lit parking lot... Outside power drops for recharging overnite...
I've always day tripped it from the metro-plex but will be fishing for a couple of days in the upcoming weeks and looking for some insight/guidance and maybe just as important... which hotel properties to stay away from...
Any suggestions welcome

We stayed at the Dinosaur Trails bed and breakfast right on Lake Granbury toward Squaw Creek, this winter. It was awesome. More expensive than a hotel but well worth it IMO. There is a gate you can close at night with plenty of boat and truck parking and it's just like being at home. It was a very comfortable setting. I believe they have three separate cottages. Very clean, too. I will stay there again this winter when we make our trips to Squaw.

The only other spot I would say is the Hilton as it's on the lake and has it's own ramp. I don't know if they have anything set up for charging your batteries however. It's somewhat in the center of town so it allows you to get around pretty well. It is however a decent run south from there.

the Hilton would be my recommendation. I would try to get a reservation before they book up.

I called the Hilton a couple of months back to see if they have outside access to plug in your boat to recharge overnight... they gal I talked to said they didn't but she also didn't seem like she had a clue as to what I was asking about.. think I'll call 'em again... you'd think that if they dropped a new hotel right on the water with a boat ramp, that it would at least provide something....

There is a park across the street from the Hilton for parking boats. As well as there are some picnic areas where I do believe there are plug outlets.

wishn4fishn if you can't find any thing. I don't have a hotel but do have a boat ramp and power available for your boat. Message/email me if needed. Located across from the power plant.
