Not many central, south, or west Texas lakes on that list - just Falcon. Fayette and Bastrop usually make the cut. Not this year. Which is fine by me.

I believe it about Palestine. Ray Roberts is a toilet... I concur sir!! Yea, Ray Roberts should be dropped from everyone's list. Roberts is terrible everyone needs to go elsewhere all the fish from ray roberts are now living in Lewisville, that's the place to go.

I can't believe L Austin ain't on the list.How can a constant level lake go from #9 in the country a couple of years ago to not even making the top 100?

They just spread the list around each year to give the different areas some advertisement and economy lifts. I cant see what it matters what, how or why they rate lakes anyway. If they rated Falcon #1, would that incline anyone from DFW to make the 15 hour hike down there to fish it? For the most part I would guess this is filler info for the company. The more info they can put out, the more value is perceived thus the more sales increase. BASS is little more than an advertising company anymore.
Yes they will make the drive. I have been on Toledo Bend my whole life and this last year have seen the biggest increase in visitors coming from all over the USA to fish because it's the "number 1 lake in the country"! Ridiculous amount of increase in pressure. I guess they will name it number one until they do enough damage and it starts to suck and then they can go ruin another lake. Ya I was kinda pissed when it made it again just for what you said. This year has been crazy with the amount of boats that have been there.

Should be in the top 30. Last night in a 3 fish Tuesday night Tournament 25.96 was the winning weight. It's taken insane weight to win on Tuesdays this year.

No grass left. Was there in March of 2015 and guide said they are trying to get the grass back but it's going to take time.
