It has been decades since I fished that lake. I would do it again in a heartbeat if opportunity presented itself.

I believe you fishytx. I was there with a friend Sunday. We had 37 by 630. I have had several 60-80 fish days by myself. The problem with most of the non believers is they can't get far enough from the bank to catch them after the sun comes up. Great job!!

What plastics do you guys prefer when throwing C-rigs at Fayette? (worms, creatures, craws, etc.)

Chubby, I have never thrown a C-rig at Fayette. I typically use a home made shaky head and SK Ochos. I also prefer to deep crank. The new SK XD series allow you to use a smaller crank but still reach the depths of a DD22, so it doesn't kill you to fish one all day. I have had great results fishing a peanut butter and jelly football jig with a PB and J brush hog. 1/2 and 3/4 oz.

I've never trolled a C/R myself. But if I were to do so, then I believe I would use a fluke. Since this is a high pressure lake, small baits work great. I try to keep my plastic at four inches or shorter. At night I prefer the bigger baits, puts off more vibes for the fish to find easier. Or those are my thoughts any way.
