According to the TP&WD director, firearms are permitted in all state parks. If the park is leased from the Feds, that's a different matter, but then it isn't a state park. Is anyone aware of any of these "leased" parks?
Also what about open carry if there is no 30.07 sigh posted. We were at Inks and there was neither sign posted.

I watched a jet ski running full speed in a buoyed cove on Whitney make a hard left right in to the bow of a boat. The boat was a 18-19' open bow and the dude on the jet ski was lucky to have cleared it. One of the most pleasing things (no one was hurt) that I ever saw was 2 jet skis collide Lake Guntersville and sink.

Good question about the 30.07 sign. But I bet there is some Bubba out there that will find out.

I've open carried at Tawakoni coming off the water and even had a chat with one of the employees there. No problem.

Corps water is funny. In the Pacific NW there's hundreds of miles of water backed up behind COE dams. People duck and goose hunt those lands all season. Many people carry a firearm on their boat. Never known anyone to get a ticket for doing so.

LBJ ranch I think is a state park but the main house is federal property.
