I don't think the bass guys make much in sponsorship in general.

20 years ago I worked at a golf shaft maker and they were paying John Daly $250K per year sponsorship

I bet in todays number it would be double

Hell, I just think about how much I spend on hard baits... I'd just need free baits for me and I'm in. Payout per tourney that I won &/or placed would be the gravy.

I have caught fish on them, not a gimmick, just another lure in the arsenal is all. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.

You can remove the battery from them and still catch fish without the "gimmick" part. I'd promote them for a 12 pack of Miller Lite, but I'm not much of a fisherman so so one would pay attention.

I am not going to go as far as say they are a gimmick but I am not sure the noise has any impact on whether the fish strike it or not. I won't use them because they cost to much.

They are baits. They will work. I don't think they will out fish a fat free shad or a dd22.I just think "future of bass fishing" is a bit steep. The only future of bass fishing are the kids we pass it on to.

Voting ends tonight so please vote if you have not done so. I see we have more voters this time than just those who voted Livingston Crank Baits are a gimmick bait in the prior poll. No big deal really but I was hoping we could have seen how many anglers would promote a bait that they do not believe in and what it would cost.

Last two things on this:
1) I received PMs asking if I am associated with Livingston in any way - the answer is No

2) Why in the hill Andy Morgan, Powroznik and Blaylock would get hooked up with Livingston is beyond me. Velvick and Howell I can understand but Byron should doesn't need another dollar.

Not sure why you'd take the time to create a survey to bash a brand and a group of anglers... Good luck with the survey though.

Mark - your hobby of correcting and criticizing people/posts for years on TFF is annoying. I get it - you are a hot shot marketing guy. You told us many of times.
