I have had some since they came out. Still as smooth as they were when I bought them. They are solid as rock and the new Tatula CT's are even better

I have several Tatula HD's with braid, no problems at all. Have several Type R's as well. They are by far my favorite reels.

I have 4 and love them! However I did have the "grooving" issue on 2 of them and actually have a post on here in the rods and reel section with pictures for proof before I get bashed by anyone. I think they remedied the the problem however by switching all the t-wings over the zillion style which has a narrower head. They also went up in price for this part. Paid about $23 for my first 2 and most recently about $40 for the next one on a Type R I bought off ebay that I noticed small grooves on the t-wing. I;ve been using that reel no issues though. Still have the brand new part in the bag on my desk.

All that being said they are great reels for the price and I love them! All of my reels but 1 is a Tatula and the other is a T3 ballistic.
