Great Bluegill Fitz Looks like a great time. Most of the pond red ear I catch are about that size. I sure wish they grew bigger in these unmanaged ponds. Like one of those 5 lbers, LOL Nice greenie, but the challenge is still on my friend. J-Moe, If you are referring to the second picture it's not a green sunfish. Its a bluegill/green sunfish hybrid.

Great day it looks like. That can't be beat on a fly rod. I've started trying out a little fly rod I bought from academy along with a Cheap reel also. It's a microlite fly rod. Not even sure what weight you would call it. It sure is a blast, but I need to upgrade soon.

Haven't ever seen a fly on a treble hook. Is it rare isn't it? I've never seen or fished with a fly that has a treble. There are articulated flies for bigger fish that have 2 single hooks (one basically a trailer)
