I know to increase the size of the belly hook on them but what about the feathered trailer and what size hooks? I tried to search but couldn't find anything about hook size. Thanks

Went with Size 4...

Has anyone had any issues with paint coming off after a few fish. I only caught a handful of fish on the paint has already started to chip away. For how expensive these are I would think the paint would be better.

If you are worried about the paint, get Bone because that's not painted.

But, I can look in my tackle box and know which YM is my "best" one because it has a lot of the paint knocked off. The fish don't seem to mind.

Yeah I was going to say I guess I don't really care. Some of my best cranks of a lot of paint chipped off and they still work great. Just thought it was a little crazy being that they are $16 a piece

Its not a recent secret. We are almost 20 years into this Yellow Magic phenomenom. They have been around and been VERY popular for a long time now. Some of us remember the Yellow Magic +1 models as well. Great baits.

I still have several of the +1's
